SITE Nite Europe: Build Relationships, Grow Business

By SITE

“One Night, One World” is the theme for this year’s SITE Nite Europe being held 15 May at the historic Kameha Suite, Frankfurt, Germany. Hosted by the SITE Foundation the night before the start of IMEX Frankfurt, the event will bring together IMEX Hosted Buyers, SITE members and industry colleagues to bridge distances and forge connections with peers around the world.

SITE Germany President Marina Parra-Flechsig, managing director, Weichlein Tours & Incentives and Christoper Koleros, area director sales and marketing Europe, Intercontinental Hotel Group are co-chairs of this year’s event.

What inspired this year’s theme “One Night, One World”?

Marina: SITE Nite is the first opportunity in 2017 for many members of the SITE global community to convene in Europe. With everything going on in the world, it is more important than every for the incentive travel community to come together, face-to-face, to demonstrate solidarity around SITE’s core values of connections, creativity, trust and results. This year our event ambassadors are committed to ensuring that all attendees are introduced to fellow colleagues to guarantee a fun and productive evening.

Christopher: SITE NITE addresses the needs of our audience by offering networking opportunities and bridging together people from around the world to share interests and establish new relationships. As co-chairs, our role is to assist in the organization of SITE NITE while planning a fun event that meets the various needs of all attendees from around the world. We have been working closely together to share ideas on how to encourage communication and engagement with all participants attending SITE NITE.  My personal overall goal is for everyone to have an amazing experience and inspire the industry to feel the beat of their heart.

Why is attending or sponsoring SITE Nite Europe a smart business investment?

Marina: SITE Nite is an optimal environment to connect with hosted buyers and industry professionals from all over the world on a very familiar level. The event attracts a 2:3 ratio of buyers to suppliers so, if you’re a supplier, just under half of the attendees are a potential source of business for you. Buyers can take comfort that the suppliers in attendance are reputable and trustworthy and truly understand the requirements of incentive planners. Past SITE Nite attendees and sponsors credit the event as an ideal forum to make important business connections and forge new ones.

Christopher: By attending SITE Nite you will have the opportunity to meet with industry leaders and experts, as well as with sponsors who are drawn to our events because of their international appeal and numerous benefits, designed to maximize exposure and returns on their investment that last far beyond the duration of the event.  For both buyers and suppliers, SITE Nite is an ideal opportunity to foster important relationships with a targeted audience, while experiencing a welcoming venue and reconnecting with industry associates from around the world.

“The important work done by the SITE Foundation is made possible because of the enduring support of our SITE Nite sponsors and guests and through critical partnerships, including our valuable and long-time relationship with IMEX Group. Proceeds from SITE Nite enable the Foundation to continue our mission of delivering valuable research and education to strengthen the business case for incentive travel worldwide.”

Lynn Pavony, SITE Foundation vice-president of fundraising and director of incentive sales, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.
