In Thailand, we crowdsourced the ten statements that best represented the nature, purpose and direction of incentive travel as seen by the global audience of incentive travel professionals gathered in Bangkok for SITE’s Global Conference 2019.
Together we created an impressive manifesto that set out an aspirational vision for our global community. Key themes included sustainability, corporate social responsibility, inclusivity, diversity and the re-definition of luxury for a multi-generational workforce. In Canada, we took the aspiration of Bangkok and turned it into action in Vancouver. Following a comprehensive consultation with SITE members and Young Leaders, we selected 3 of the 10 statements from Bangkok, tweaked them a little and decided upon the action plan for 2020.
