Prevue Meetings & Incentives, a multiplatform brand that inspires meeting and incentive planners by providing immersive experiential travel coverage, professional development and thought leadership, is proud to release the following white paper and webinar, Women’s Issues: The Facts About Workplace Challenges for Meeting Planners & Suppliers. In partnership with SITE, this landmark white paper and webinar is based upon the results of a survey taken by 708 female meeting planners and suppliers in September of 2018.
Highlights from the survey include that the majority of women meeting planners—56.4% percent–reported having been sexually harassed at some point in their careers. The percentage of suppliers was slightly less, at 45.1%. Other highlights of the survey are 52.9% of respondents reported that fewer than 30% of the C-level positions in their companies were occupied by women and only 12.8% of respondents worked in companies where the top management positions were held by women.
